Kiss Me At Midnight

"Kiss me at midnight"

What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit, "Kiss me at midnight" by me available here
Font of choice, I used Gill Sans MT Ext Condensed Bold
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop
Included Supplies :
Word Art
Animated Pink Disco Ball

Let's begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the circle frame included in the kit
Using your magic wand tool, select the open area of the frame
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Go to selection>modify>expand>3
C/P the paper of choice into selection
C/P the clock face numbers behind the frame/paper layer
C/P the word art included as a new layer
Add drop shadow if needed
Merge these layers visible
Re-Size as needed
C/P the tube of choice
*This will NOT remain here, this is to get an idea where to place it later*
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the black top hat from the click
Re-Size and rotate as needed, depending on your tube
Place behind her hand *if it applies
Merge hat and tube layer down together
Now Cut the tube layer
and Paste as a new layer into PSP
*We will come back to the tube layer
Add the copyright info to your tag back now
(the circle frame, wordart)
Merge the copyright down with the other layer
*************************************
Open Animation Shop
**************************
*We will be building the animated tag in 2 parts.
This tutorial area will also teach you how to add images and text to an animated tag.
**********************************
3. Copy the tag back (circle frame, etc)
Paste as a new animation frame into Animation shop
It should still have a transparent background (if you left it that way)
If it doesn't, remove it and re-do it again.
Sometimes this happens.
Now open the animated disco ball into animation shop
You will see that it has 12 frames
So you will need to duplicated your tag back until you have 12 of them
You do this by right clicking on the tag back and select "duplicate selected".
Do this until you have 12
If you over do it, just delete the extras
Now you need to look for the following image:

It looks like a "Cross Hair" cursor
This tool will help you place the disco ball animation evenly on all 12 tag back frames.
Select this tool and go to the top center area of the circle frame
Once you have it placed, go to your disco ball animation
Using the same tool, place it on the top center of the "hook" of the crystal ball
This will give it the appearance of "hanging" from the frame
Now look for this image:

It looks like 3 sheets of the paper
Click that so it's indented in
Now we are going to place the disco ball onto the tag back
To do this you need to go to edit>select all on both the tag back and crystal ball
Now select the arrow tool
Grab the FIRST frame of the crystal ball and drag it to the first frame of the tag back
The Crystal ball animation should now be empty and all 12 of the tag back frames should have the crystal ball in them
Press play to make sure the animation is in place where you want it and that no frames are empty or not working correctly
If this is the case, simply undo both the tag back and the disco ball and the disco ball will be removed from the tag back and re-appear in the crystal ball animated frames
If it's correct, go back to PSP

4. Copy your tube/hat layer
Paste it into Animation Shop
You will NOT need to duplicate the tube frame
(This is because the tube frame is NOT animated)

Go to your registration mark or "cross hair" tool
Select the area where you need to have the bottom base located on the tag back
I did mine just above the "h" in the word art
Now apply the cross hair tool to the bottom of the glass in the tube frame
You will not need to re-select the propagate button
Now be sure that all frames are selected on the tag back and the tube frames
Once this is done, drag the tube frame to the first tag back frame
You may need to adjust this a couple of times to get it right
Just undo both frame areas (tube and tag back) and re-do until you have it right
Once it is where you'd like it, Press play
If all looks right you are done!
Of course you will want to add a name to this so just go back to PSP
and and type out your name, and then copy & paste it to Animation Shop
Select the cross hair tool again and place it on the tag frames where you would like to have the name
And again on the name frame
Drag the name to the first frame of the tag frames
Make sure you have all of the tag frames selected
Press play, if you are happy, you are officially finished!
