Rock This Town




"Rock This Town"

What you need:

Tube of choice, I used artwork by Jose Cano
Scrap Kit by Me, "Pretty Girl Rock"
Font of choice, I used Sick Capitol Vice
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop
City Scape image of choice
*Not to be used in other tutorial supplies*

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the black glitter splatter from the kit
Using the provided mask from the kit, C/P as a selection onto the paper of choice
Promote background layer and delete the mask layer.
Crop to selection
C/P as a new layer above the glitter layer
C/P wire circles from the kit
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the disco ball
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the filmstrip frame
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your selection tool, rectangle, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the image of choice into selection
Create a new raster layer above the image layer

3. C/P the tube of choice behind the image layer
Add drop shadow
C/P the barbed wire above the frame layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
Duplicate and place at the bottom of the frame

Add copyright info and name now

**Starting Animation**

4. Open the provided animation inside animation shop
Copy the first frame and paste in PSP
Using your selection tool, trace a long the open area of the frame again
Select the new layer above the image layer
Go to your flood fill tool and select the "pattern" option in the menu
Go to your layer menu and lower the opacity to about 60%
Find your animation frame and select it
Flood fill into the selection
It should be slightly see-through, like above
Save as frame 1 or however you wish
Hit the "undo" arrow and delete the first frame from PSP
Go back to animation shop and Copy the second frame
Repeat theses steps until all frames are copied and filled into your tag

5. Open the frames in your animation wizard
Set your speed, I use 15 fps
Press play and if your happy with results, save and your done!

What you need:

Tag Template by Sara OB
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, c/p the layers
as a new selection onto the paper of choice
Promote background layer
Crop to selection
Add drop shadows as needed


3. C/P the tube of choice
Add drop shadow
C/P the black feather behind all layers
Re-Size and rotate as needed
C/P the swag
Add drop shadow
C/P the kiss
Re-Size as needed


Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Super Star


"Super Star"


What you need:
Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Jose Cano
Scrapkit, "Cinema" by me here
*Currently part of a PU Grab Bag
Font of choice, I used heyMom!heyDadl!
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the multi-frame included in the kit
Rotate 90 degrees to the right
Add drop shadow
Crop the city paper to the shape of the top open area of the frame
Try to make it a bit larger
C/P the paper behind the frame layer
Trim and move as needed 
Do the same with a second paper of choice
C/P the spot light and place it in the top right corner
C/P the camera included in the kit
Rotate 10 degrees to the right
Add drop shadow
C/P star wire
Rotate 20 degrees to the right
Add drop shadow
C/P the popcorn pieces and arrange to your liking


3. C/P the first tube of choice
(A close up works best)
Trim as needed
* I chose to make mine B&W using photo edit
C/P the second and third tubes of choice
Trim as needed
Add any wording you'd like

Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Sittin on Santa

What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Jose Cano
Scrapkit, "Merry Christmas" by Sarah
Font of choice, I used Jellyka - Love and Passion
Animated snow of choice, or the one I used here 
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using selection tool, Rectangle, C/P the paper of choice into selection
C/P the tube of choice as a new layer above the paper
Trim and mirror and place on the far left of the frame
Add drop shadow
Go to your layer drop down menu and select "luminance"
C/P the tube again and place on the right of the frame
Trim as needed
Add drop shadow


3. C/P the doodle tree as a new layer
Add drop shadow
Trim as needed or re-size
C/P the first Ric-Rac ribbon of choice
Rotate to the left 4 degrees
Add drop shadow
C/P a second Ric-Rac ribbon
Add drop shadow
C/P the button of choice
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
DO NOT MERGE LAYERS


Add any sayings, text and copyright info now


4. We will now begin the animated part of the tag
Using your selection tool, Rectangle, trace along the left of the frame opening
Create a new raster layer above the tube layer
Open you animation shop
Open the animated snow
The snow included in this tutorial has 19 frames, so you will be creating a total of 19 individual tags, 1 per frame
Copy the first frame of the snow
Paste as a new image inside PSP
Using your flood fill tool, add the snow frame into the selection
Save as frame 1
Delete the snow pattern in PSP so you don't use it again
Click the undo button until just the frame area is selected, and just the snow has been removed
Go back to Animation shop and copy the second frame of the snow
Repeat this step until finished


5. Now open animation wizard and open the frames of the tag inside
Select speed, I used 10
Press play, if you are happy with the speed, save and you are done!

Totally Awesome

What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Jose Cano 
Scrapkit, "Her High School Years" By Sarah
Font of choice, I used TwinkleStarROB {A PTU font}
Graphic Program of choice, I used PSPX2
Let's Begin!
1. Open a transparent image 600x600
Open all of your supplies
2. C/P the frame of choice as a new layer
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your selection tool, rectangle, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection
3. Copy the tube layer you plan to use
Paste as a new image 1 to 2 times
You should have 3 tubes of the same 
Duplicate each tube
On each of the lower layers of each tube image
Go to Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur>"2" for the setting
For the top layer, go to the layers window to your right (typically)
Select the drop down menu and choose "screen"
For each tube image, repeat this
*You can play around with the different layer blend techniques
I used Screen, Multiply and Blur
I also changed the opacity of each tube image (top layer)
3. Once you have changed each tube image
C/P the tubes as shown above or however you wish
C/P any other elements of choice
I used word art and a stapled ribbon I turned black using the photo editing
Add Copyright Info and Name 
And you are done!!!

Simple Fun


"Simple Fun"


What you need:


Tube of choice, I used artwork by Jose Cano and you can purchase his work here

Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image 600x600
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the square frame of choice
C/P the circle frame as a new layer behind the square frame layer
Using your selection tool, rectangle, trim away the part of the circle frame showing in the square frame
Create a new raster layer behind both frame layers
Using the lasso tool, trace along each frame, one at a time
C/P each paper choice into the selection


3. C/P the tube of choice as a new layer above the paper layer
Trim as needed
Add drop shadows to the tube and frame layers


4. C/P any other elements of choice
I used:
Staple
Ribbon
Rectangle Tag
Add drop shadows as needed


Add copyright info and name and you are done!!

Let's Begin!


1. Open a transparent image, 600x600 pixels
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the this template, you will need to C/P as a new selection
onto the paper of choice, and cropping to selection AFTER you have promoted the background layer.
Then, C/P each piece of the template as a new layer onto the new raster image
Add drop shadows to each piece


3. C/P the tube of choice
Add drop shadow
Add any saying or name
Add drop shadow
Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

I decided to make mine B&W

3. C/P your tubes of choice in side each open area of the frame
Add any other elements of choice.
I added flowers behind the frame

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image, 600x600 pixels
Flood fill if you wish
Create a new raster layer in the layer menu to your right

2. Copy and paste your first bracket
rotate 15 degrees to the left
Add drop shadow
Using your magic wand tool, click in the empty area inside
the bracket
Go up to selection->modify->expand->and expand by 5
highlight the new raster layer BEHIND the frame layer
c/p your paper of choice INSIDE the selection
Merge the frame and paper layer down together

3. Create a new raster layer above the frame/paper layer
c/p another cracket of choice
add drop shadow
Repeat the same steps above EXCEPT for merging

4. Copy and paste your tube of choice
trim away any parts that hang over the frames
Add drop shadow

5. Add any other elements you wish
Add drop shadows as desired


Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

Things you will need:

1. Open a new image, 600x600 pixels transparent.
Open all of your supplies.

2. Copy and paste your frame (s) of choice.
Use your selection tool to select an area around the open part of the frames.
Create a new raster layer.
Copy and paste your paper of choice INSIDE of the selection.
Do not merge.

3. Copy and paste your tubes of choice,
Inside and/or outside of the frame.
Apply any drop shadows.

4. Add any other elements of choice.
Apply your copyright info.
Merge all layers visible.
Add your name.
And you are done!

Love Me

"Love Me"
Things you will need:
Artwork of choice, I am using artwork by Cano and you can purchase his tubes here
Scrap kit of choice, I am using "Stupid Cupid" by TammyKat and you can purchase her kit here
Mask of choice
Font of choice
Graphic Program of Choice, I am using PSPX2
Let's begin!
1. Open a new image, 600x600 pixels, transparent.
If you wish, flood fill it with the color of your choice now.
Open all of your supplies.
2. Choosing your first paper, apply the mask of choice to that paper.
Re-size as needed. Copy & Paste as a new layer.
Copy and paste your frame (s) of choice as a new layer.
3. Using your selection tool trace along the open area of the frame(s).
Now over in your layer menu, create a new raster layer UNDER the frame layer.
Copy and paste your second paper choice INTO selection.
De-Select areas.
4. Copy and paste the tube or tubes of choice as new layers.
I have one above the frame layer and below the frame layer,
I also added a photo filter to the second tube. You can do this, or you can make it
Black and White or leave as is. I won't be teaching you how to use photo filter's at this time.
5. Now choose the elements of choice and arange as you see fit. I layered several different elements, adding a dark drop shadow to give the tag depth.
6. Merge all layers visible.
7. Add any copyright information, name and you are done!
