Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the print of choice as a new layer

C/P the circle frames from the kit above the print layer

Using your magic wand tool, click inside each frame area

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

C/P the paper of choice into selection

*You will need to go to selection.modify>expand>9 with the frame above before placing the paper

3. C/P the tube of choice

Add drop shadow

C/P the genie lamp from the kit above the tube layer

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Add any sparkles of choice from the kit

C/P the gold light from the kit behind the tube layer

Add copyright info and name and your done!

 1. Open a new transparent image

2. C/P the frame from the kit

Rotate 90 degrees to the left

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your selection tool, rectangle, select the open area of the frame

C/P a paper of choice inside the selection

C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer

Add drop shadow

Trim as needed

C/P the flower included in the kit or one of your own

C/P the cornucopia included in the kit

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

3. Apply mask to paper or color of choice

C/P behind the tag layers

Create a new raster layer above the frame layer

Go to your pre-set vector shapes

Select the eclipse shape

Drag it out until it is centered and as wide as the tag

Move it over to the left of the tag so it over hangs just a bit

Drag the new raster layer above the vector layer

Select your text tool and type the words above or one of your own

Adjust as needed so it is positioned the same

Merge the vector layer with text down to the raster layer

Add drop shadow to text

Delete the vector layer

Merge all layers visible

Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Vanpire Night

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new image, flood fill white

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the cluster frame

Rotate 6 degrees to the right

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer

Create a new raster layer in front of the paper layer

Add copyright info and name now if you do not know how to 

add text to an animated tag.

*We will begin to create each animated frame now*

Using your lasso tool again, Trace along the open area of the frame

Highlight the new raster layer above the paper layer

Go to Xenofex and apply the lightning

Any glow color and position is fine.
I placed mine at the top left corner and used white

Using your lasso tool again, trace along the face of the pumpkin

*You can use the magic wand tool, however it looks a bit sloppy

Go to gradient glow and choose the color white

(Nothing should be selected now)

Save as frame 1 or however you'd like

Now hit the undo button until nothing is there

(No lightning or glow)

Save as Frame 2

Repeat these steps

I have a total of 6 frames

You may choose to do less.

Open animation shop and using the animation wizard, open all of your frames

Right click each frame and go to frame properties

Change the speed from 10 to 15

Now you can change each speed in the frames to be different

The higher number, the longer the frame speed

I have mine set between 10-20 to make it seem random

Play animation, if you are happy, your done!

C/P Raven and place in tree

*DO NOT MERGE LAYERS*

4. Make your "Fright Night" wording now in the colors & font of choice

Go to EyeCandy5000>Nature>Drip

Choose the Drip Tab (if not already selected)

Setting I used are :

Drip Length : 76

Width : 9.25

Density : 21

Taper : 59

Dribble : 15

Apply to text and then add drop shadow

5. Go down to your mask layer and create 3 new Raster layers above the mask

Select the mask layer first

Go to Xenofex2>Lightning

My Settings were:

Arc Thickness : 11

Jaggedness : 92

Branching : 90

Branch Spread : 47

Position the circled cross where your lightning will begin

in the spot you need it to begin

Apply it and then undo

*the reason we do this is because if you started on

the transparent layers first, you would not know where

to place the starting point, and by applying and then undoing,

it saves the starting position for you*

Now choose the first new raster layer

Go back to the lightning effect

Apply

*You may need to shrink yours, I needed to by 80% each time

You won't want it to hang below the tag or run off the tag.

Repeat on the last 2 layers, hitting "Random Speed" to change it

without having to move the starting point

DO NOT MERGE LAYERS

6. Make 2 of the 3 lightning layers invisible

Apply your name now if you do not know how to

add your text to a animated tag

*Each part we save now will be 1 frame of the animation*

7. With 1 lighting layer showing, save as frame 1 or however you wish

Now Click that lightning layer invisible

With NO lighting showing, save as frame 2

You will repeat this step until you have 

6 frames, 3 with lightning, 3 without

This gives it the flash effect

Now Open Animation Shop

8. Using your animation wizard, open all 6 of your frames

The animation or frame speed should be 25

Once it's open, press play and see how you like it

If you need to adjust the speed, select all frames

And then go to Animation Tab then down to Frame Properties

When you are satisfied, save and you are done!

3. C/P the halloween border in front of the frame layers

Add drop shadows to the tube and frame layers

1. Open a transparent image, 600x600 pixels

2. C/P the frame of choice, if you using hers rotate it 90 degrees to the right

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your magic wand tool, select the open area inside the heart shape

Go to selection->modify->expand->8

3. C/P the paper of choice INSIDE the selection

C/P your first image of choice as a new layer behind the frame layer

Trim around the edges after you have positioned properly

Repeat with the second image

I chose to make one image B&W, and you can do this in your photo editing tools

4. C/P the checkerboard floor that is slanted and faded as a new layer behind the image layers

C/P any other elements of choice, I used her chess piece, Cloud, flower and grass

Using the grass, I trimmed it so it would appear to be coming from the frame

Add drop shadows to elements

Add any copyright info and name and you are done!

*I C/P the font as a new selection on the red paper included in her kit, deleted the font layer and then cropped to selection, promoting the background layer first.

Then I C/P the new font/name as a new selection to a glitter filled image

Then, going to selection->modify->expand->2

And cropping to selection

Then adding drop shadow*

Animation Shop

EyeCandy 5 Plug In (Constellation)

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image 600x600 pixels.

Flood fill if you wish.

Open all of your supplies.

2. C/P your frame of choice as a new layer.

Add a dropshadow.

Create a new raster layer in your layer menu, BEHIND the frame layer.

Using your selection tool, Rectangle, trace along the open area of the frame.

C/P your paper of choice INTO the selection on you new raster layer.

3. C/P your tube of choice.

C/P the black wings as a new layer behind the tube layer.

Add any other elements.
Add drop shadows.

Add your copyright info and name.

Merge all layers visible.

*We are now going to be working on the animated portion of this tutorial.

I am assuming that you have a working knowledge of animation shop, as I will not be going

step by step in the next process. And there will be a lot of repeating.*

4. Using your magic wand tool, select the areas in which you want the sparkle to be applied.

Hold down the shift key for multiple areas.

Go to your constellation plug-in and choose "bling-Bling"

And be sure that the "Keep Original Color" is filled in.

Adjust the size as you wish. Mine were set quite small.

Once you have your first selection the way you like it, hit ok.

De-select the area.

Save as "frame 1"

Go back and hit the back button or "undo" until the bling is removed and the same

area is selected again.

Go back to your filter and hit "Random Speed".

Choose one you like go back, de-select, save as frame 2.

Repeat until you have 3-4 different frames.

5. Now open up animation shop.

Open the frames using your animation wizard.

If you created this as a PNG you will need make sure that the background is checked to stay

transparent.

Click play, if you are satisfied with it, save and add your name.
