What you need:

Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Keith Garvey

Scrap Kit, "Christmas Traditions" by Designs by Sarah

Mask of choice, I used BYOK : Big Chill PU Masks by Me

Font of choice, I used VS Expectation LT Std

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Animation Shop

Eye Candy 5 Nature : Fire

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the mask of choice on to a paper of choice

Promote background layer and crop to selection

C/P onto your transparent image

C/P the fireplace from the kit

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the garland of choice above the fireplace

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the santa bag from the kit above the tree layer

Re-Size as needed and add drop shadow

C/P the horizontal frame of choice from the kit

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

2. C/P the "heads" of 4 tubes of the artist of choice

Trim and re-size as needed

C/P the main tube of choice above all layers

Add drop shadow

We will now begin the animation process. Add copyright info and name now.

3. Create a new raster layer above the fireplace layer

Using your lasso tool, drag out a small line in the fireplace where you want to start your fire.

Go to EyeCandy 5>Nature>Fire

I used these settings :

Column Length : 98.12

Flame Width : 30

Waver : 100

Flame Intensity : 95

Soften Edges : 50

Make sure the "Start From Bottom" box is checked

If your happy with the results, save as frame 1 or however you'd like

4. Click "Undo" once and repeat, simply hit "Random Speed" each time you make a new frame.

You should make 3-6 frames total

Once completed, you are ready to add them to your animation shop wizard.

5. Open Animation shop and click "Animation Wizard"

Open all of your frames in the wizard

Press Play

I used frame speed 25

If you are happy with the results, save and your done!

Wicked

"Wicked"

What you need:

Tube of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis

Scrap Kit, "Scream Queen" by Me found at PMTW/S

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. Open a second transparent image flood fill white

You will be using this image over again

Open your Mat from the kit and C/P as a new selection on the filled white image

Go to selection>modify>5

Crop to selection

(Remember these steps, this will be repeated through out the tutorial, only modifying the # which will drop to 3 through out the remainder of the tutorial)

C/P as a new layer to your original transparent image

Add drop shadow

*For each element and tube you use, repeat the above steps, remembering to drop the selection # down to 3)

I used the following elements:

Orange thorns

Spider Web

Spider

Frame of choice

Paper of choice (above step not needed)

Bat (Duplicated and mirrored)

Blood Splatter (Above step not needed)

Word Art of Choice

Once you have applied a white border around everything, Be sure to add a drop shadow for depth.

Add copyright info and name and your done!

Party Girl

"Party Girl"

What you need:

Tube of choice, I used artwork by VeryMany found SATC

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the disco ball from the kit

Add drop shadow

C/P the circle frame from the kit 

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice inside selection

C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer

Duplicate and drag one layer behind the frame layer

Trim the top layer to give it a 3D look

Now trim the bottom layer so nothing hangs out the bottom of the frame

Add drop shadow to the bottom layer tube

3. C/P the filmstrip frame from the kit

Rotate 12 degrees to the right

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice inside the selection

C/P the tube again above the paper layer

Trim and Re-Size as needed

Apply a blend effect with tube, I used Multiply

(this can be found in the drop down menu in the layers area)

+We will now begin the animation process, please add name and copyright info now+

4. Select the Disco Ball layer

Go to Adjust>Hue and Saturation

Play around with the controls until you get the starting color you'd like.

I went with the a blue from the tube, moving the saturation bar up and down a little.

Once your happy hit "OK"

Save as frame 1 or whatever

Hit undo and repeat. Each time moving the Hue bar to the left or right

It makes more sense, and will give the animation an even flow if you go from one side of the color spectrum to the other instead of skipping around.

Save between 6-10 frames

5. Open Animation Shop

Open the images into your animation wizard using your pre-selected settings

Once uploaded, press play if your happy with the speed, save and your done!

Emo Princess

"Emo Princess"

What you need:

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the scribble frame

Add drop shadow

Rotate 8 degrees to the left

C/P the black glitter spray behind frame layer

Create a new transparent image behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice into selection

C/P the scribble star above the paper layer

Rotate 10 degrees to the left

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the star layer and we'll save it for later

C/P the scrolled frame above all layers

Rotate 10 degrees to the right

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice into the selection

3. C/P the tube of choice above all layers

Once in place, duplicate and drag one layer behind the scrolled frame layer

Trim the top tube layer to give the appearance of 3D

Trim the bottom tube layer as needed

Apply drop shadow to the bottom tube layer

C/P the green scribble above the frame layer and place like above

C/P the pink scribble behind all layers and place like above

Type any word of text of choice and C/P as a new selection on to the paper of choice

Promote background layers and crop to selection

*Flood fill an image white and C/P the finished wording as a new selection

And go to selection>expand>3 for the white outline look.

(I also did this with the name)

Apply drop shadow to wording

For the "emo" word I applied the chrome effect from eyecandy5

Rotate 12 degrees to the left and add drop shadow

Colorize if you'd like with basic re-color in your PSP program

4. C/P the tiara of choice above the top tube layer

Trim and re-size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the heart pin as a new layer above the wording

Re-Size as needed

Apply drop shadow

I used my lasso and trimmed away a small area of the pin.

While it was still selected, or with the marching ants around it, I applied the drop shadow several times to give it a 3-D look

Add copyright info and name now

*Starting Animation*

5. Go to the new layer behind the scribble star

Using your lasso tool, trace along the star as best you can, following a solid line

Open the provided bar into animation shop

Copy the first frame of animation

Paste it as a new layer into PSP

Using your flood fill tool, "fill" the star selection

Save as a "frame1" or however you wish

Click undo once to remove the bar and delete the image you pasted in PSP

Go back to AS and copy the second frame

Paste into PSP and repeat

Continue these steps until all frames from the bar have been filled into the star selection

Open the tag frames into your animation wizard

Choose a speed, I used 10

Press play and if your happy, save and your done!

Girlz Rock

Place them a bit off center

Merge the 2 layers together

Add drop shadow again

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your selection tool, Trace along the open area of each frame

C/P the paper of choice into selection for each frame

Open the mask provided in the kit by Pimp'd Designz

C/P the mask as a new selection on the paper of choice

Promote background layer and crop to selection

C/P as a new layer behind the frame layer

Duplicate and place one on each corner of the frame

3. C/P the record/LP from the kit

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Duplicate and place on the opposite side of the tag area

C/P a ribbon of choice above the frame layer

Add drop shadow

C/P the music note above the ribbon layer

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the heart WA from kit above all layers

Re-Size as needed

*I applied a "hot Wax" effect from PSPX2 to each heart

C/P the second heart

Rotate 36 degrees to the right

Re-Size as needed

Merge the 2 heart layers down

Add drop shadow

C/P the guitar from the kit above the ribbon layer

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the MP3 player of choice above the LP layer

Re-Size and rotate as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the notebook paper from kit as a new layer

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Duplicate & Flip, placing it on the opposite side of the tag area

4. Add any other elements of choice

Add drop shadow after each new layer

C/P the tubes of choice above the paper layer

Each as it's own layer

Snow Stamped

What you need:

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the snow blended word art supplied

C/P the black star from the kit

Add drop shadow

C/P a rolled flower

*It's best to use the largest

Using your selection tool, circle, drag the circle selection in the middle to "cut" out the center of the flower to create a frame from it

Add drop shadow

C/P the tulle element from the kit behind the frame layer

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your selection tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice into selection

3. C/P the tube of choice above the paper layer

Trim and re-size as needed

C/P the white snow flake of choice from kit above all layers

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Place in a similar position as above

C/P the button of choice

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the ribbon of choice

Add drop shadow

Re-Size as needed

It should now look like the above tag with the exception of the animation

Add copyright info and name now

Animation Process:

4. Open the animated snow inside Animation Shop

Copy the first frame

C/P the frame as a new image inside PSP

Create a new raster layer above the paper layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

Go to your flood fill tool and select pattern

Choose your snow image you just copied from AS

Flood fill into the selection

Save as tag1 or however you'd like

Go back into PSP and click the "undo" arrow just until the snow is removed, leaving the "dancing ants" selection active

Delete the first copied image inside PSP from AS

Go back to AS and copy the 2nd frame of the animation

Repeat until animation frames have all been copied.

If you are using the snow above, you will have a total of 19 frames

5. Once completed, Open the Animation Wizard inside AS

Open all of your tag frames

Set speed to your normal setting, I have mine set to 10 fps

Press play and if your happy with the result, save and your done!

What you need:

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the green square frame from the kit

Re-Size as needed

Rotate 7 degrees to the left

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the frame opening

C/P the paper of choice inside the selection

C/P the tube of choice

Duplicate and drag behind the frame layer once you have it in place

Select the top tube layer

Trim as needed to give it a 3D look

Trim the bottom tube layer

Add drop shadow to the bottom tube layer

Duplicate the top tube layer

Increase size of image so it is large enough to clearly see the apple 

(If using the same tube)

Using your lasso tool, trace along the apple in the tube

Go to Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize

Select the red color of your choice

De-select everything

Go to your layer menu and choose "Hard Light" or the setting of your choice

3. C/P the gold glitter behind all layers

C/P the blood stain of choice above the glitter layer

C/P the tulle circle 

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the spider web above tulle circle

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the moon behind the spider web layer

Add drop shadow

C/P the mist of choice above the moon layer

4. Open a new transparent image

Type the text of choice, or the wording I used

C/P the tube you used repeatedly behind the text layer

Once satisfied, using your magic wand tool, select inside each letter

Copy the text outline layer

Delete the text layer

Go to selection>expand>4

Crop to selection

C/P the text outline layer above the graphic text fill

Position as needed

Add drop shadow

Merge layers visible

Add copyright info and name and your done!

What you need:

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame included as a new layer

Create a new raster layer behind the frame

C/P the tube of choice above frame layer

Duplicate and drag 1 layer behind the frame layer

Trim the top and bottom tube layer to give it a 3D look

Add drop shadow

*I added a drop shadow several times to give the tube depth  from the dark background*

Add your copyright info and name now

3. Open the background animation into your Animation Shop

Select all frames

Copy and then Paste them in PSP

You should now have all the animation layers as 1 image in PSP

4. Going back to the frame, Using your lasso tool, trace along the heart shaped frame

Go to the blank raster layer you created in the beginning

Select the animation and go to the very bottom layer

Copy this and then paste it in the selection

*You may want to trim the animation before starting this process, so it doesn't appear to small*

Repeat the C/P until you have all the layers in the frame, saving each frame separately

5. Open the new tag frames in your animation wizard

Press play and if you are happy with the results save and your done!

I cropped the one to the left and duplicated and "mirrored" the image

2. C/P the black frame from TammyKat's kit

Rotate the frame 8 degrees to the left

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice into selection

Don't merge layers

C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer

Duplicate the tube layer and drag it behind the frame layer

Select the top tube layer

Using your lasso tool, cut the above tube that is over the frame layer

Trim the bottom tube layer as needed

Apply drop shadow to the bottom tube layer

3. C/P the 2 splatter graphics from Sarah's kit behind all layers

C/P the tree from Missy's kit above the splatter images

Re-Size as needed

*I made my tree Black using the B&W photo editing tool

C/P the moon from my kit behind the tree layer

C/P the bat from my kit above the moon layer

*I mirrored the bat for this tag

Add drop shadow

C/P the netting, rotated 90 degrees to the right, and place above the frame layer, re-sizing as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P the green Word Art from Tammy's kit

Place above the net layer

*Make sure it's behind the tube layer*

Add drop shadow

C/P the cauldron from Missy's kit above the top tube layer

You may need to duplicate the cauldron and place one behind the tube layer and trim as needed as you did with the tube layers.

Using your selection tool, Rectangle, Trace along the open area of the frame

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

C/P the paper of choice into selection

C/P the tube of choice as a new layer

Add drop shadow

3. C/P the flip phone frame

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

Rotate 6 degrees to the left

Create a new raster layer behind the phone layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the paper of choice into selection

Add any wording above the phone layer

I added noise to the lettering

Add drop shadow

C/P the glitter spill from the kit

Duplicate and drag so it appears on both sides of the frame as shown above

*We are now creating the animation part of this tutorial

Add name and copyright info now

4. C/P the first tube of choice

Trim and re-size as needed

Add drop shadow

Save as frame 1

Delete the tube and repeat until you have 2 or 3 frames

Now open Animation shop

Using your animation wizard, open your frames

Right click on the first frame and choose "Insert Image Transition"

Once the box pops up, under effects, choose "Fade"

Frames per second should be 10

Transition length should be 2.0 seconds

Click ok once completed

Now go to the next frame

And repeat

And finally the 3rd frame and repeat

Now go back to the very first frame and right click and copy that frame

Now go to the very last frame and right click > Paste>Paste after the selected frame

Now click play

If you are happy, save and you are done!

Vanpire Night

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new image, flood fill white

Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the cluster frame

Rotate 6 degrees to the right

Add drop shadow

Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer

Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame

C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer

Create a new raster layer in front of the paper layer

Add copyright info and name now if you do not know how to 

add text to an animated tag.

*We will begin to create each animated frame now*

Using your lasso tool again, Trace along the open area of the frame

Highlight the new raster layer above the paper layer

Go to Xenofex and apply the lightning

Any glow color and position is fine.
I placed mine at the top left corner and used white

Using your lasso tool again, trace along the face of the pumpkin

*You can use the magic wand tool, however it looks a bit sloppy

Go to gradient glow and choose the color white

(Nothing should be selected now)

Save as frame 1 or however you'd like

Now hit the undo button until nothing is there

(No lightning or glow)

Save as Frame 2

Repeat these steps

I have a total of 6 frames

You may choose to do less.

Open animation shop and using the animation wizard, open all of your frames

Right click each frame and go to frame properties

Change the speed from 10 to 15

Now you can change each speed in the frames to be different

The higher number, the longer the frame speed

I have mine set between 10-20 to make it seem random

Play animation, if you are happy, your done!

1. Open a new transparent image

2. Apply Mask of choice to paper of choice

C/P onto your new image

C/P haunted house

Re-Size as needed

Add drop shadow

C/P moon

Re-size and drag behind house layer

Add drop shadow

C/P tree above moon layer

Add drop shadow

Re-Size as needed

C/P Raven and place in tree

Add drop shadow

Re-Size

C/P bat

3. C/P tube of choice

*DO NOT MERGE LAYERS*

4. Make your "Fright Night" wording now in the colors & font of choice

Go to EyeCandy5000>Nature>Drip

Choose the Drip Tab (if not already selected)

Setting I used are :

Drip Length : 76

Width : 9.25

Density : 21

Taper : 59

Dribble : 15

Apply to text and then add drop shadow

5. Go down to your mask layer and create 3 new Raster layers above the mask

Select the mask layer first

Go to Xenofex2>Lightning

My Settings were:

Arc Thickness : 11

Jaggedness : 92

Branching : 90

Branch Spread : 47

Position the circled cross where your lightning will begin

in the spot you need it to begin

Apply it and then undo

*the reason we do this is because if you started on

the transparent layers first, you would not know where

to place the starting point, and by applying and then undoing,

it saves the starting position for you*

Now choose the first new raster layer

Go back to the lightning effect

Apply

*You may need to shrink yours, I needed to by 80% each time

You won't want it to hang below the tag or run off the tag.

Repeat on the last 2 layers, hitting "Random Speed" to change it

without having to move the starting point

DO NOT MERGE LAYERS

6. Make 2 of the 3 lightning layers invisible

Apply your name now if you do not know how to

add your text to a animated tag

*Each part we save now will be 1 frame of the animation*

7. With 1 lighting layer showing, save as frame 1 or however you wish

Now Click that lightning layer invisible

With NO lighting showing, save as frame 2

You will repeat this step until you have 

6 frames, 3 with lightning, 3 without

This gives it the flash effect

Now Open Animation Shop

8. Using your animation wizard, open all 6 of your frames

The animation or frame speed should be 25

Once it's open, press play and see how you like it

If you need to adjust the speed, select all frames

And then go to Animation Tab then down to Frame Properties

When you are satisfied, save and you are done!
