Sweet Pole

"Sweet Pole"

What you need:

Tube of choice, I used artwork by Verymany

Scrapkit, "Holiday Hugs" by Pimp'd Designz (me)

Font of choice, I used Cheri

Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice as a new layer
Create a new raster layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection
C/P the tube of choice above the paper layer
Re-Size and trim as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the north pole above the frame layer
Add drop shadow
C/P the teddy bear from the kit
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow

3. C/P the candy cane heart above the frame layer
Rotate as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the tree from the kit above the frame layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow

Add copyright info and name and your done!

Snowman Holiday

"Snowman Holiday"

What you need :

Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Suzanne Wollcott

Scrapkit of choice, I used "Rudolph Mini" by Designs by Sarah

Animated Snow *snagged* HERE

Animation Shop

Font of Choice, I used Aquarelle

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the multi frame of choice from the kit as a new layer
Open the paper of choice from for the background
Using your selection tool, eclipse, trace out a large oval
Promote background layer and crop to selection
C/P behind the frame layer
Add drop shadow
Create a new layer behind the frame layer
Trace along the frame opening with your lasso tool
Flood fill the new layer with a color of choice

3. C/P the greenery from the kit behind the frame layer
Add drop shadow for each
C/P the candy cane from the kit above the frame layer
Rotate as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the cookies of choice from the kit
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the ribbon of choice above the frame layer
Add drop shadow
C/P the button of choice above the ribbon layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow

4. C/P the tubes of choice as a new layer above the flood fill layer
Trim as needed
Add drop shadow

*********************
Starting Animation
Add copyright info now and name

5. Open the animated snow into animation shop
For each frame of the snow (10 total in the one provided), you will
Copy and paste each layer into PSP
On your tag, create a new raster layer above the tube layers
Using your selection tool, trace along the open area of the frame
Paste the snow frame in PSP and choose your Flood Fill tool to fill
the selection layer
Save the tag as frame 1 or however you'd like
Click the "undo" arrow and repeat for all 10 frame

6. Open the tag into the animation wizard
Press play
If your happy with the tag, save and your done!

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the tree cluster from her kit
Add drop shadow
C/P the snowglobe
Add drop shadow
Re-Size all elements as needed
C/P the snowy ground from her kit behind all layers
Re-Size as needed
I duplicated and flipped so the hard edges were not showing
C/P the snowflake print from the kit
Re-Size as needed
Duplicate and move around the image

Add any other elements or artwork as desired

Add copyright info if needed and name and your done!

Waiting For Winter


"Waiting For Winter"

What you need:

Tube of choice, I am using artwork by Suzanne aka Gorjuss

Scrap Kit, "BYOK : The Big Chill"

Template, also from the BYOK : The Big Chill

Font of choice, I used TwinkleROB

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. *For each layer of the template you will need to C/P as a new selection
onto the paper of choice. Then Promote Background Layer and Crop to selection.
Be sure to add a drop shadow to each layer.

3. I also used a cluster and a ribbon from the BYOK Big Chill Collection.
Add drop shadows as needed.
C/P the tube of choice
Add drop shadow
Add any wording of choice

Add name and copyright info as needed and your done!

Winter Impressions

"Winter Impressions"
What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Steve Bajer 
Scrap Kit "Winter Roses" by Designs by Sarah
Font of choice, I used "Licorice"
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the frame of choice as a new layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection
C/P the tube of choice above the paper layer
Using your blend drop-down menu, choose a setting you like
C/P the branch of choice above the frame layer
Duplicate and mirror
Add drop shadow to both
C/P the rose of choice
I used the pink long stem one as well, but cropped the stem off
C/P another branch at the top of the frame 
Add drop shadow
C/P the bell 
Add drop shadow
C/P the white tree above the tube layer
Add drop shadow

Add copyright info and name and your done!

Snow Stamped

"Snow Stamped"

What you need:
Tube of choice, I am using artwork by Suzanne Woolcott
Scrapkit of choice, I am using "Rockin Christmas" by Designs by Sarah
Font of choice, I used FB Lipgloss
Stamped Word Art (PU ONLY) here
*This may not be used for digi-scrapbooking CU or other tutorials*

Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop

Let's Begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the snow blended word art supplied
C/P the black star from the kit
Add drop shadow
C/P a rolled flower
*It's best to use the largest
Using your selection tool, circle, drag the circle selection in the middle to "cut" out the center of the flower to create a frame from it
Add drop shadow
C/P the tulle element from the kit behind the frame layer
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your selection tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection

3. C/P the tube of choice above the paper layer
Trim and re-size as needed
C/P the white snow flake of choice from kit above all layers
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
Place in a similar position as above
C/P the button of choice
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the ribbon of choice
Add drop shadow
Re-Size as needed
It should now look like the above tag with the exception of the animation

Add copyright info and name now

Animation Process:

4. Open the animated snow inside Animation Shop
Copy the first frame
C/P the frame as a new image inside PSP
Create a new raster layer above the paper layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
Go to your flood fill tool and select pattern
Choose your snow image you just copied from AS
Flood fill into the selection
Save as tag1 or however you'd like
Go back into PSP and click the "undo" arrow just until the snow is removed, leaving the "dancing ants" selection active
Delete the first copied image inside PSP from AS
Go back to AS and copy the 2nd frame of the animation
Repeat until animation frames have all been copied.
If you are using the snow above, you will have a total of 19 frames

5. Once completed, Open the Animation Wizard inside AS
Open all of your tag frames
Set speed to your normal setting, I have mine set to 10 fps
Press play and if your happy with the result, save and your done!

SnowGlobe


"SnowGlobe"


What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit of choice, I used "Santa's Kingdom" by NLD
*This is a bit pricey compared to some kits, but well worth it.
However any scrap kit or elements you may have on hand will work just as well.

Font of choice, I used defatted milk
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop 


Snowglobe, created by me
Animated Snow

*The snow globe is fixed, and is available in PSD, PSPImage and individual PNG files*



Let's begin!


1. Open all of your supplies


2. Open your snowglobe image
Adjust canvas size to 600x600 pixels
*You can trim it down later
(Go to Image>Canvas Size>600x600)
Select the Background layer of the snowglobe
C/P as a new selection onto a color, paper or gradient of choice
Promote Background layer
Crop to selection
C/P the new background on above the old one in the template
Delete the old layer
If you need to adjust the position, simply de-select the glass bubble and light reflect layers to easily move it around
This may take a couple tries to get it right


3. Once the background is in place, you can begin to build your snowglobe scene
You will need re-size the elements many times to get the to fit perfectly inside the globe itself
Add drop shadows to give the appearance of depth
Once you have the outdoor scene built, C/P the tube of choice above the background layer
Trim as needed or re-size
*Add copyright info and name now*

Once you are ready to add the snow, create a new raster layer above the tube layer
Now go back down to your background layer and using your magic wand, with the "Match Mode" set to "none", select the circle background
Now highlight the new raster layer above the tube layer you just created


Open Animation Shop


*We will now begin the animated portion of this tutorial*


4. Open the animated snow included or one of your choice
Copy the first frame and paste it as a new image into PSP
Using your flood fill tool, add it to the selection on the blank layer above the tube
Save as frame 1
Go back to PSP and hit the undo button until just the blank layer is selected again with the dancing ants
Go back into animation shop and Copy the second frame
Repeat these steps until you have created the exact amount of frames as the animated snow


5. Using your animation wizard, open all of the finished frames you created
Select the speed, I used 10
Press play, and if you are happy with the speed save and you are done!

Woodland Winter


"Woodland Winter"


What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Maxine Gadd
Scrapkit, "Winter Wonderland" by Me available here
Font of choice, I used La Flama y La Espina
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame
C/P the paper of choice into selection
C/P the tube of choice
Trim as needed
Add drop shadow


3/. C/P the icicles behind the tube layer
Add drop shadow
C/P the falling snow from the kit behind the icicles
Duplicate and move to extend across the framed image
C/P the woodland tree above the frame
add drop shadow
C/P a twig of choice
Add drop shadow
C/P a pine element of choice
Add drop shadow
C/P the bird from the kit
Add drop shadow
Re-Size as needed
C/P the scarf from the kit
Add drop shadow
C/P the candles from the kit
Drag behind the stick layer


Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Winter Wonderland


"Winter Wonderland"


What you need:

Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit, "My December" by PolkaDot Scraps
Tag Template # 40 by Vix here
Font of choice, I used Toonish
Graphic Program Of Choice, I use PSPX2


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. *For each layer of the template you will need to C/P the layers onto the paper of choice, and then c/p them to the transparent image
Add drop shadows as needed
Once the template is complete we will start adding elements and tubes


3. C/P the candy cane from the kit
Rotate 6 degrees to the right
Add drop shadow and place as shown above
C/P a snowflake of choice
Add drop shadow
C/P the white tress included in the kit behind all template layers
Re-Size as Needed
Add drop shadow
Trim as needed
Duplicate and drag to other side
C/P a bow of choice
Add drop shadow


4. Open a new transparent image
C/P the tubes of choice in the order you'd like
Merge them all down to one layer
Re-Size as needed
C/P the center template as a new selection onto the tube layer
Delete the template layer so you just have the dancing ants
Crop to selection
C/P the tube layer above the template layer
*I made mine B&W
Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Let It Snow II


"Let it Snow"

What you need:

Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit, "Holiday Shimmer" by Gemini Creationz
Christmas Tag Template #2 by Tracy here 
*Corrected Template/Link Sorry everyone*

Font of choice, I used Aqurelle
Animated snow of choice, or the one I used here
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, C/P it to a paper of choice
*I did use the glitter trim layers from the template, so you can leave those layers the same
Re-Color the middle strip of the template to match the tag
C/P the tubes of choice 1 by 1
Trim a s needed
Duplicate each tube
For each top layer go to Adjust>Blur>Gaussian>3
Lower Opacity to each to your liking
For each lower layer, Go to your layer menu and choose "Luminance"
Merge the top layer down to the bottom tube layer for each


3. Create a new raster above the tubes layer on the strip
We will be returning this later
C/P any elements of choice
I used the following:
Sleigh
Poinsettas
Bling
Bling Swirl
Sparkle Overlay
Add drop shadows as needed
Add any copyright info name now
Crop your tag
*We will now begin the animated portion of this tutorial*



4. Open animation shop
Open the animated snow file
Go back to PSP and select the strip layer
Go to your magic wand tool and make sure the "Match Mode" is set to NONE
Select the strip
The whole strip should now be surrounded by the "dancing ants"
Now go to the raster layer we created just above the tube layers
Go back to Animation shop and copy the first frame of the animated snow
Paste it as a new image inside PSP
Using your flood fill tool, flood fill the selection with the snow pattern

Save as frame 1
Go back to PSP and delete the snow pattern you had pasted 
Click the Undo button until the snow pattern has been removed and the strip is selected
Go back to Animation Shop and Repeat this step until you have 19 tags or the same amount of frames as the animated snow you are using
Once completed, Open the frames inside the Animation Wizard
Press play and if you are happy with your speed save and you are done!

Pink Holiday


"Pink Holiday"


What you need:
Tubes of choice, I used artwork by Barbara Jensen
Scrapkit, "Pink Holiday" by me
Tag Template #39 by Vix
Font of choice, I used Impacted
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, you will need to C/P as a new selection onto the papers of choice, Promote background layer and crop to selection
Add drop shadow as needed
For the wording within the template, the white, duplicated and faded Word Art, I duplicated twice and placed 1 at the bottom of the left frame and the other on the top of the right frame


3. C/P the chrome snow flakes of choice as a new layer above all layers

Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the pink tree
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the "Christmas Magic" element included in the kit
Place behind the "Let It Snow" Word Art
C/P the first tube of choice
Trim as needed to fit inside the template frame
Go to Effects>Photo Effects>Film & Filter
Use the Following Settings:
 
 C/P the second tube of choice
If you happen to be using the same tube as above, I mirrored the close up tube
Trim as needed
Apply the same photo effects as above
C/P the silver glitter included in the kit
Rotate 90 degrees to the right
Place the glitter splat behind the frame/Paper layers
Duplicate and place on the other side
Merge all layers visible
Re-Size as needed
Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Winter Love


"Winter Love"


What you need:

Tube of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit, Frostbitten by Sarah
Tag Template #36 by Vix
Font of choice, I used Aquarelle
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2


Let's Begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. For each layer of the template, you will need to C/P as a new selection, promote background layer and crop to selection
Add drop shadows when desired
C/P the tubes of choice
I used the inside square of each frame to crop the tube to selection
for an easier fit
C/P any other elements of choice, I used :
Acrylic Snowflakes
Beaded Ribbon
I also used a Photo Edit technique on the tubes
To bleach out the tubes color a bit
You can do this here:
Go to Effects>Photo Effects>Film & Filters
Customize the color choice by choosing white
Film Looks : Glamour
Density:56
Merge all layers Visible
Add copyright info and name and you are done!

Let it Snow


"Let it Snow"

What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Elias Chatzoudis
Scrapkit, "Holiday Trimmings" by Microferk Designs
Or use the FREE ornament frame by me HERE

Fonts of choice, I used Toonish & Shennette
Supplies, Graphic and Snow here
Plug In : EyeCandy 5 : Nature : Snow
Graphic Program of choice, I use PSPX2
Animation Shop



Let's Begin! 

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the ornament frame of choice
Add drop shadow
Create a new raster layer behind the frame layer
Using your magic wand tool select the area inside the frame
Go to selections>modify>expand>6
C/P the winter graphic of choice into selection
Create a new raster layer above the graphic
*This will be used to flood fill the snow pattern later*
C/P the tube of choice above the frame layer
Trim as needed
Add drop shadow
C/P the ribbon with shadow as a new layer
Place on top of the ornament hanger


3. Type "Let it Snow" in the toonish font
I used 100 pixels for size
Add drop shadow
Go to eyecandy5 snow and use the following settings:



*We will now begin to create the frames for the animated tag*
Add copyright info & name now


4. Open animation shop
Open your snow animation
Copy the first frame of the animation
Paste it in PSP as a new image
Select the winter graphic layer on your tag
Go to magic wand, match mode : none and select the graphic
The whole graphic should not be outlined with "dancing ants"
Now select the raster layer above it that is empty
Go to your flood fill tool, or paint can, and go to patterns
Find the snow graphic and select
Flood fill the empty layer above the graphic with the snow pattern
De-Select everything and save as frame 1 or however you save your animations
Hit undo a couple of times on the tag until just the layer is selected again
Delete the first snow pattern from PSP dso you don't select again by mistake
Go back to Animation shop and select frame 2 copy and paste in PSP
Repeat these steps until you have a total of 10 tags, 1 tag for every frame of animation of the snow you used
Once completed, Open the tags into your Animation Wizard
Select the speed of 10 and press play, if you are happy with the animation, save and you are done!

Let's begin!


1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies


2. C/P the frame of choice
Create a new raster layer behind the frame
Using your lasso tool, trace along the opening of the frame
C/P a paper of choice INSIDE the selection
C/P the snow man with shadow as a new layer
*Re-Size as needed*
C/P the candy cane in the kit as a new layer above the frame
Add drop shadow

C/P the ribbon/bow as a new layer on the candy cane
Add drop shadow
C/P the "Merry" Word Art as a new layer
Add drop shadow
C/P the tube of choice
Add drop shadow
Add copyright info and name now



3.Create a new raster layer above the snowman layer
Open animated snow inside animation shop
Copy the first frame of the snow and paste it into PSP
Using your lasso tool, trace along the open area of the frame again
With the new raster layer selected above the snowman, select your
Flood fill tool and go to patterns and flood fill with the snow frame
Save as frame or however you normally save your frames
Repeat this step for all 10 frames of the snow
Now open your frames into the animation wizard
Press play and if you are happy with the speed, you are done!
