Beary Funny

"Beary Funny"

What you need:
Tube of choice, I used artwork by Suzanne Woolcott
Scrap kit, I used Sarah's portion of "Spring Love" which is a store
Collab at PMTW/S
Font of choice, I used Studio Lettering Sable
Graphic program of choice, I use PSPX2

Let's begin!

1. Open a new transparent image
Open all of your supplies

2. C/P the multi-colored splash from her kit
Using your selection tool, rounded square, trace along a small area on a paper of choice
Promote background layer and crop to selection
Select all
Go to selection>modify>contract>8-12 depending on preference
Cut Selection
Flood fill a new transparent image with white
C/P the newly created paper frame as a new selection
Go to selections>modify>expand>3 or 4
Crop to selection

3. C/P your new frame as a new layer
You may need to re-size if you made them to big
Add drop shadow
C/P the big flower from her kit behind the frame layers
Re-Size as needed
Add drop shadow
Duplicate and place behind the other frame
Using your lasso tool trace along the open area of the frame, one at a time,
And with the flower layer selected, cut selection
This should have removed the flower area shown inside the frame areas
Using your selection tool, you can trace along the open area of the frames
And C/P the paper of choice into selection if you'd like to use paper
If you plan on doing so, please remember to create a new raster layer behind the frame layers
If you plan on the tube or images to take up that area, the paper step is not necessary.
Now add your tube(s) of choice
Add drop shadow if you plan on creating a 3D look like the one bear tube

*My bears were re-colored using the Effects>Photo Effects>Film and Filters and changing the color in the little square to a deep pink color. Play around with the settings to find a desired effect.
